Well, this is in the movie section at my library but actually aired as a miniseries, so I'm back from the hiatus momentarily.  This is as cheesy as the film Earthquake (1974) but with fewer recognizable stars and better special effects.  Beau Bridges plays the president.  John Lafia wrote and directed.
