I'm not using the "based on a book" tag because, while this features Selden's characters, this is only somewhat a sequel to Cricket in TS. And unlike CTS, the material has been padded, with not only multiple renditions of "Yankee Doodle Dandy," but deliberately anachronistic jokes (including about the recently resigned President Nixon) and a sequence between two fireflies named John and Marsha (which while not as smutty as Stan Freberg's 1951 record definitely refers to it).
