This is a very JFK-era episode, with the references to "the president's fitness program" and of course the space program. Top Cat gets the erroneous idea that animals training to be astronauts have a cushy lifestyle, but he soon finds himself outsmarted by a monkey.
Herb Vigran voices the Space Shuttle Doctor and I think of him as a more recognizable name than Walker Edmiston, who voices Bernie.
