I had heard of this show but didn't know much about it.  I still don't but it seems to be about a human and talking dog who, well, have adventures, in this third-season opener dealing with some adorable creatures who think they want to be mean but don't know.  And I giggled a lot watching this eleven minutes or so.  Definitely the winner so far in this project.

And I was like this.

  • Dee Bradley Baker as Cinnamon Bun and a Cutie here, other characters elsewhere
  • Jackie Buscarino as Cute King, but other characters elsewhere
  • John DiMaggio (the unmistakable voice of Bender on Futurama) as Jake the Dog
  • Stand-up comic as well as voice (and sometimes live) actor Tom Kenny here playing the Ice King and a nameless Cutie
  • Jeremy Shada as Finn the Human (that's what it says in the opening credits)
  • Creator Pendleton Ward here as Lumpy Space Princess, Two Headed Cutie, and an unidentified Cutie
  • Niki Yang as BMO (some kind of Gameboy/walkie-talkie/cell phone, I think)
This episode is written by Ward, Mark Banker, Ako Castuera, Patrick McHale, Kent Osborne, and Tom Herpich.  The directors are Bong Hee Han, who did 226 episodes total, and Larry Leichliter, who did 114.  And, yes, suddenly this blog has an almost 60 year span, although missing some important decades ('60s, '70s, '80s).
