Unlike the Joker and Capt. Clown,
I didn't even have a first laugh.

Again, the airdate has nothing to do with when this is set, April Fool's Day.  Although this is a Joker episode, I found his jokes, in a script by a somewhat inexperienced writer, to be remarkably stale, with "Who says crime doesn't pay?" probably hackneyed by the '50s.  I guess I should've specified last time: I want funny humor on this series.

Pat Fraley is Jest here but would later voice Bat-Mite.  Efrem Zimbalist, Jr., takes over the role of Alfred.
