Disappointing finale to the miniseries.  Logan spends several weeks unhappily in hospital, then goes to work for a violent left-wing organisation, first selling newspapers and then being a spy, yes, again incompetent.  Then he suddenly remembers he has a house in the south of France, so he moves there and falls in love one last time, unrequited.  Then he burns all his belongings, yet somehow publishes his journals posthumously.  (The gravestone reads 1906-1991.)  I would've gone with a lower grade, but Broadbent of course is a great actor.  Pity this story ended up being so muddled, and I haven't even gone into all the anachronisms.  Still, it averages out to a B- and I recommend it with reservations.
