In the conclusion, with the help of DNA testing, the nine lineages are traced further back, mostly to Africa, although Gates discovers that he is himself 50% "European." The most moving part is when Gates and Chris Tucker, who's of Angolan ancestry, visit a museum that was once the church where Africans were "blessed" before being sent off into slavery or death. Overall, a fine series, averaging a B after that slightly stumbling start.
There are actually two directors this time, not just Gladsjo but Graham Judd.
