I made it only a quarter hour through this grotty reboot.  Not only is it a failure as a Baum adaptation, but it's not interesting or appealing on its own terms.  I liked that "D.G.'s" waitress uniform looks like Dorothy's dress in the 1939 movie, but most of the changes, like from aunt & uncle to parents, were baffling.  I might've gone with a C- but the villainess wasn't the least bit fun or scary.  Nick Willing directed but was not able.
