I found this episode simple but satisfying, including the visual humor. T.C. and the gang help Dibble break the record for most days walking the beat. Then Dibble is awarded with three weeks' vacation, which he ends up spending with the cats. Note that Dibble's first name is confirmed to be Charlie. Also note that Dibble compares the cats to a spouse, can't live with, can't live without, and there's no mention of his actual wife, whom we still haven't seen.
Paul Frees voices Iron Man Muldoon, Dibble's role model.
