The title, which probably sounds racier now than at the time, is actually a reference to the TV show Naked City, which ran on ABC from '58 to '63. Dibble and the alley cats get caught up in the excitement of a crime drama being filmed in their neighborhood and then stupidly fall for some crooks' scheme to take advantage of this. I did like TC telling Dibble that his first name as a star would be Rock, as in Hudson.
