Not only was I less interested in this story, the first of five by Tony McHale, but the direction by David Wheatley (his last of four) has annoying modernistic touches, like distorted angles and sped-up or slowed-down footage to indicate the passage of time and/or flashbacks. The misogynist jokes of the comedian-- not just about Viagra but about necrophilia!-- didn't help, even if he wasn't meant to be sympathetic. I'll still give this programme at least one more shot though.
