In the first of two DB episodes written by Henry Alonso Myers, things move forward in an unexpected way, with Andrea calling Brett early in the morning to tell him that she's taking her addict boyfriend to rehab.  It's unclear, of course, how this has happened but it shows that somehow Brett is "changing the day" not only for himself.  And, either I'm becoming a bit less sensitive, or this episode was less violent than before, so moving up to a B feels fair.

Eric Steinberg makes his first of two cameos as Slim.  Fred Keller didn't direct any other episodes, but perhaps we'll see him again.
