This is another weak episode, with Pam befriending an elderly shopkeeper (well, she says she looks twice her age and she has a teen son, but I swear she's 70) in a "mangy" neighborhood, and a comic strip is supposed to trap the local juvenile delinquents but the plan is not well thought out. Furthermore, early on in the episode Jerry "humorously" imagines ways to murder Pam because he's locked out of the apartment, even though the spare key is under the mat he's sitting on. I thought this series had potential, but this is generally not a good sampling.
George Oppenheimer and Barry Trivers respectively wrote three and four other episodes.
