Peggy Elliott and Ed Scharlach's first of five Odd Couple episodes (they also collaborated on That Girl among other shows) has Felix get in an unlikely boxing match with a hockey player, but it's not a sports episode per se. The show definitely hasn't found its groove yet, but it's not bad. What I found most interesting here were the outdoor shots (Central Park?) and the reference to draft-dodging in Canada.
Bartender Peter Dawson would be Big Al the following year. Bruce Bilson would direct five more episodes.
