It's hard to like either roommate in this Albert E. Lewin story (his first of seven). Felix seems genuinely sick, albeit perhaps exaggerating, while Oscar for some reason can't just tell the "X-rated" stewardess who values honesty that he has a sick roommate. I mean, this isn't like Three's Company, where the girls would have to hide their male roommate. There are moments I like, such as the sight gag where Oscar returns to his restaurant table and finds Felix instead of his date, but the series has really got to get its act together soon.
The poker buddies-- Vinnie, Roy, Murray, and Speed-- return and one of the better scenes is when they all end up playing a game around Felix's sickbed. Hal Cooper would direct ten more episodes.
