In the seventeenth episode, a committee investigates possible waste in the military, so Bilko overdoes making the camp look impoverished. He's caught but the end suggests he'll win some money at poker with the men of the committee, so all is not lost for the plucky swindler.
Jason Evers had appeared in another role for an episode that's not on this collection, and after his appearance here as Captain Kyler he'd be back seven more times, as Kyler and others. Ralph Dunn is Congressman Pettiguild here but would be Mr. Huggins later.
