This is the first of six Couple episodes written by Bill Idelson and the first of eight by Harvey Miller, and it's a so-so mystery, with all of Oscar's friends suspecting him of stealing $50 from the poker pot. It turns out he accidentally put it on a sandwich when the lights went out.
Cynthia Lynn, who plays Inga, had a recurring role as Helga on Hogan's Heroes, including the first episode. Herbie Faye's first of six OC roles is Mr. Lambretti.
