This Bob Rodgers story, his first of two, has dialogue that is less plausible and funny than usual, especially the "girl" who uses "plastic" as a compliment. Felix tries to give Oscar a calmer lifestyle in order to ease the ulcer, but he then invites their poker buddies over for polite conversation.
Cosmo Sardo, who has an uncredited role here as a Restaurant Patron, would later have an uncredited role as a Waiter, while Ben Frommer is Gonzales and would later be a Fat Man. Leonard Barr, the Old Playful Boxer on the Street, would have four more roles. And Bill Quinn would return as Dr. Melnitz three times, despite his request that they call another doctor next time.
