This third episode of the series doesn't really get going until the title character shows up.  Although on the surface MSgt. Joan Hogan (Elisabeth Fraser, who a dozen years later would be the Judge on a Monkees episode I reviewed) seems like a sweet Southern belle, she's at least as wily as Bilko.  They become sort of a couple at the end, and she would return for sixteen more episodes.

Other new cast:

• Billie Allen as WAC Billie
• Barbara Barry as WAC Edna
• Ned Glass as MSgt. Andy Pendleton
• Midge Ware as WAC Corporal

Also, Fay Morley would be back twice as another WAC Corporal.  But the most notable woman here is Jane Dulo, who plays Mildred "the Barracuda" as shrilly as she would her many cameos into the '90s.
