New cast in this fourth episode

• John Alexander in his first of four "general" roles, here General Strait
• Maurice Brenner as Pvt. Irving Fleischman
• Terry Carter as Pvt. Sugarman
• Walter Cartier as Pvt. Claude Dillingham
• Mickey Freeman as Pvt. Fielding Zimmerman (well, technically he debuted in the second episode, but that's not on this collection)
• Hope Sansberry as Mrs. Nell Hall

Robert Shawley would be back for one more episode, but as Feldman rather than Pvt. Carter.  By the way, Bilko's squad seems to be mostly the older group we saw at the beginning of "New Recruits," rather than the new recruits.

The plot is that Bilko buys the title animal with his men's money (which they gave him to bet on the horse) and soon is spinning elaborate fantasies about how the horse will make them millionaires.  Of course things don't work out as planned, although the horse does win over a visiting general who misses the cavalry.
