The Doctor regenerates as Peter Capaldi, who in the fifteen minutes I watched didn't have any notable attire. I was going to go with a D+, but I almost liked the thing about Clara (Jenna Coleman) trying to deal with the older appearance of the man she, um, I guess loved? And what I've seen of Doctor Who today averages out to a C-. I don't feel like I've missed anything by not seeing more, and I feel like the actors playing the Doctor were served better elsewhere. (Billie Piper by the way was equally annoying in Mansfield Park, reviewed on my previous blog.)
Ben Wheatley directed only one other episode.
