The main plot here is that a charming but sneaky Turk arrives and deflowers Mary, only to die offscreen in the middle of the act.  Sensible maid Anna and Mary's mother help carry the dead man back to his room.  Meanwhile, maid Gwen shocks her coworkers by wanting to become a secretary.  I marked this down from a B again for medical reasons, in this case the injuries a quack's leg brace does to Bates.  Note that Thomas's homosexuality is again brought up, after being briefly addressed in the premiere, and it impacts the Turkish plot.

Brendan Patricks makes his first of seven appearances as Evelyn Napier, the Turk's nice friend, mostly in Season Four.
