After watching so many shows where I didn't care and/or like the main characters, I find myself getting attached to all three nannies, here rooting for Lydia in her moment in the spotlight, aching for Hannah as she has to make a very difficult decision about her baby, and delighting in Matty's continued pluck. (Matty is like if Bridget Jones in her better moments was playing Mary Poppins.) I definitely look forward to see what happens next in their lives and the lives of those around them.
This episode introduces Joanna Bacon as Lily, Davyd Harries as Bowles, and most significantly Nicholas Irons as Lord Hugh Lamson-Scribener, by His Lordship's first marriage. This time Martin Hutchings directed. Note that the titles of the episodes all seem to be from nursery rhymes, very appropriate.
