As that suggests, this miniseries has a sprawling cast with many plot-lines.  Briefly, it's 1902 and three very different women find themselves working as nannies for posh families in London, yes, at one of the places that Cathy Lane would visit six decades later.  I'm enjoying this so far, but I marked it down from a B because I don't care for the thread about the boxer who kills someone.  (He turns out to be the son of one of the housekeepers.)

Deborah Cook, Lillie Ferrari, and Suzanne van de Velde wrote this, while Lesley Manning is one of four directors listed at Wikipedia.
