Again, careless writing, this time by Horowitz & Kitsis, bring this show down from a B- or higher. Even though we heard about Barbara meeting Wade's parents ages ago, and that his mom disapproved, now we have Barbara overhearing the mother's criticism, as well as Wade telling his mom, "I thought you liked her." And there seems like too much back-and-forthing, people going from place to place pointlessly, including Dinah following a potential victim into the men's room to protect him and there's no pay-off to this. Also, the casting doesn't help, as some of Helena's supposedly 23-year-old classmates look at least a decade older than her, and her allegedly gorgeous crush is not anywhere as cute as her friend Gibson, who has a crush on her, as we already know. Still, it's nice that Huntress finally reveals her true identity to Reese.
