And I thought the people in the previous episode were unappealing!  From the BDSM-photographer to the monkey scientist to all those people speaking softly for no reason, I couldn't stand any of them for more than a half hour of the usual 90ish minutes.  (And going on IMDB confirms that I'm not the only one to dislike this episode.)  Pity, but oh well.  Russell Lewis also wrote the pilot, with some scripts in between.
