Stagy (in the sense of stilted) production of the famous Shakespeare play*, with Patrick Magee probably the worst performer (in the first quarter hour anyway) as the title character. Tony Davenall directed but it looks like he didn't do anything else for television.
*Not technically "based on a book," but I'm not changing the tag.
