This is the first episode of the third series, based on Somerville & Ross's novels from the turn-of-the-last-century.  This episode seems to be from 1910, since Edward VII has just died.  As with The Invisibles, I gave up after seventeen minutes because of stupid characters, although this time I was on the fence anyway.  Roy Ward Baker directed this and eight other episodes.
