This episode doesn't work as well, mostly because of the medicine-based humour, from mental illness to Jack discovering (during a makeout) that he has a lump on his testicle.  Not that there aren't funny moments, like when Jack thinks that the man they're protecting is named Andrew Ridgeley (as in Wham!) rather than Andrew Bridgley.  Kate's marital strife is played for both comedy and drama.  Note that bankers are portrayed unsympathetically because of the then world-wide recession, which was mentioned on 56 Up.
