This opens with Heathcliff's plot to get Cathy to visit her cousin Linton, so there's not much resonance when Linton admits that his dad and her late mum were once in love. Maybe the viewer is supposed to be seeing things from Cathy's perspective (rather than the stranger Lockwood in the opening of the Brontë book), but if that's the case, why not start back a bit further than that, so we can see Linton and Cathy interact at her house more? They were still in "present day" when I tuned out. I would've gone with a D+ but of course there's the scenery.
Coky Giedroyc directed both parts. Tom Hardy, who's Heathcliff, would later be the driving force of Taboo.
