At first I thought this was an unfunny sitcom but it turned into an undramatic drama. As the title suggests, this is set at the White House, although we're introduced to the characters as they receive messages on phones and pagers that summon them to the W. Wing.
Thomas Schlamme would also direct the Invasion pilot six years later. I'm not tagging Martin Sheen because his character (the President) didn't show up before I bailed.
