The kids are now 14 and going through early adolescence, some of them painfully so, all of them more reluctant to meet the eye of the camera.  They question the point of a follow-up, although all participate and try to answer the questions.  They are all recognizable versions of their younger selves and it's easier to sort them out, although I still would like labels on the screen, at least at the start.  The film is in colour, and Apted has taken over production and direction.  The U.K. is going through changes, including hippies, and yet the class barrier is as strong as ever.  Note that this installment isn't much longer, just 52 minutes.
