I found this second-season-opener a bit dull, but the characters, on whatever side of the law, were more likable than the cast of Wings. For that matter, the first quarter hour was less violent than the episode of Wings I watched.
This was several years before Idris Elba was on Luther, whom I'm yet ready to tag. Ed Bianchi directed and would do Mad Men a few years later.
