The direction in this episode by an oddly uncredited Jonathan Teplitzky (according to IMDB) is stunning! Well, I suppose some of this falls under cinematography, but the way light is used, especially the sky, and the composition of shots, absolutely amazing, while not distracting too much from the still wonderful performances. Ellie finds herself getting drawn in more by the Sandbrook case, while Tom decides to testify on his father's behalf. The bond between Alec and Ellie gets stronger than ever, and she even jokingly calls him "Uncle Alec" to Fred.
