The trial comes to a close, although of course the verdict is a cliffhanger left to be revealed on the last episode of the series.  Meanwhile, Claire, after Lee almost drowns her for having an abortion, has finally had enough and decides to give Alec the important piece of evidence that is the pendant. And the Jocelyn/Maggie I was beginning to have an inkling about is confirmed, and it's quite lovely.  (Maggie has always been one of my favorite supporting characters, although I haven't said much about her.)

Bern Collaço would be a Security Guard with Defendant in the next episode, too, while Tom Rosenthal would return as Gary Thorp there as well.  David Rowlands, who's Court Security here, would be a Party Guest the next series.  Mike Barker directed this and the following episode.
