The investigation gets going, although with fifty male party guests (and roads where strangers could've come onto the grounds), it's not going to be easy.  It doesn't help that the victim, Trish, is keeping secrets.  Meanwhile, Mark still feels anger about Danny's death, and Beth is finding her job a challenge.  (I didn't say much about the deservedly praised Jodie Whittaker in the first two series, but I actually find her even more impressive when she's dealing with another's pain rather than her own.)  And Maggie, who's now living with Jocelyn, finds out that her newspaper is going to be shut down by the syndicate.

Passer-by Stuart Davidson previously was a nameless Lawyer.  Hannah Milward debuts as Trish's teenage daughter, Leah, who's been away, and she'd be in the rest of the episodes.  Charlie Higson also would be around the rest of the series as Trish's estranged husband Ian, who seems a likely suspect.  Chris Mason as Leo Humphries is another possible suspect.  And Mariah Gale would return once more as Caroline Hughes from the syndicate.
