I made it through the first half hour of this Civil War story, although not technically to the war, since it starts in 1859 and focuses on a young portrait artist.  It's not terrible but there wasn't really anything drawing me in.  I'm tagging the recognizable performers who appear in that first segment of this first part, in case we see them again.  (Apparently a pre-Newhart Julia Duffy shows up later.)  I must note that Hayden's performance as John Brown took this down from a potential C+.  Andrew V.
