If you ever wondered why they called her "Calamity" Jane....I found this adaptation of a Larry McMurtry novel laughably written, cast, acted, and directed. True, I'm not into Westerns, but this was definitely sub-par. It was nominated for several Golden Globes and Emmies and won for sound editing. I'm tagging the people I recognized in the first twenty minutes, plus the director Rod Hardy, in case we cross his path again.
