Michael Grassi wrote this episode which, like the others so far, takes its name from movie titles. The local drive-in is closing (about thirty years after most drive-ins but then this is a town with a "chocolate shop") and other things are coming to an end, including Archie's relationship with Miss Grundy, who seems to be guilty of, at minimum, identity theft. There are other threads, including Mr. Lodge directing financial intrigue while imprisoned for financial intrigue, but nothing stands out more than anything else.
This episode introduces Rob Raco as Joaquin DeSantos, Moses Thiessen as Ben Button, and Skeet Ulrich as FP Jones, Jughead's dad. Mark Piznarski would direct only other Riverdale episode.
