Michael Glassi wrote this episode I have mixed feelings about. We find out the real killer, Jason's father, but not his motive, and it's revealed because of a video clip on a thumb drive, which is in the pocket of Jason's letterman's jacket. But who shot the footage? And to be honest, from the tearful, horrified reactions, I thought Jason was being tortured or something, rather than quickly and not terribly graphically shot by one of the likeliest suspects. On the other hand, I do like that Sprouse gets even more opportunities to show his acting chops, and the rest of the cast is generally solid. Oh, and we find out that the Coopers and Blossoms are related, so Jason and Polly were third cousins, which, again, is less shocking than it's supposed to be. Then again, this is a teen soap opera, and not as dark as it pretends. Not that I'm complaining exactly, but the hype is a bit much.
Samantha Spear makes her first of three appearances as a nameless Deputy. Rob Seidenglanz would direct three more episodes.
