Somewhat significant new cast:
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa also wrote this episode, which deals with the immediate fallout of the discovery of Jason's body in the lake, as well as the fallout of Archie thinking of Betty as his platonic best friend. The autopsy is balanced out by more Jughead, who I suspect will be my favorite character. Cheryl confesses at the end of the episode, but of course this is not going to be wrapped up that quickly.
By the way, I don't get why Archie can't just admit that he overheard the gunshot without mentioning Ms. Grundy. Or why he'd be "expelled" for the affair, as she claimed earlier. Yes, she'd be fired and probably imprisoned, but he is a minor. (Fifteen I guess, if they're all sophomores here.)
