Russell Lewis adapted the Bernard Cornwell novel, which I've never read but it very much wouldn't be my thing, being set during the British occupation of India in the early 1800s. I found the first quarter hour boring and a bit bloody but the sets and costumes were nice. Tom Clegg directed.
