This Rick Muirragui story (his first of fourteen) brings Ross & Rachel (the creator said on the pilot commentary that the names are a coincidence) to a point where it looks like they'll get close, at least as friends, and then drives them apart when she discovers one of his two big secrets.  (He's helped people cheat on LSATs and other tests; I don't think she knows yet that he isn't a real lawyer.)  It'll be interesting to see how that plays out in the second half of the season.  The other threads aren't as compelling, although there is comic relief with Jessica and Louis's "date" to see King Lear.

Boxing Trainer Craig Cyr would return as a Boxer.  JR Bourne, Max Topplin, and Dan Warry-Smith would be back once each as Samuel Tull, Harold Gunderson, and Vince Landis.  Terry McDonough would direct another episode two years later.
