Shetland: Episode 3.4
Probably the best scene, where Sandy gets clues from observant kids. |

I found this episode, again written by Chiappe and Murphy, but with the help of Alexander Perrin (his only Shetland script), darker and less interesting, plus there seems to be a diminishing amount of Shetland scenery. Having Tosh kidnapped or whatever in the final minutes didn't help.
Ace Bhatti makes his first of three appearances as Calvin Sarwar, Kevin Mains his first of three as DS Iain Boyd. Jan Matthys would direct the next two episodes as well.
