I found this episode, written by Jerome Coopersmith (his second of two), melodramatic, and the acting of the guest stars didn't help.  It was interesting to see how abortion was presented the same calendar year as Roe v. Wade.  And I still ended up watching the opening credits of the next episode, because the music remains awesome.  Robert Day had directed two earlier episodes.
