This low-budget show by and sort of about the New Zealand folk-parody duo was co-created with director James Bobin.  It transplants Bret and Jemaine to New York City but reminded me a bit of Extras, in that they have struggling careers and an incompetent manager.  This episode is more about their failing love lives, with Jemaine dating the title character, who's Bret's ex (Rachel Blanchard, who would appropriately enough return in the episode called "Sally Returns").  And periodically they break into song, hence the "musical" tag.  I found this amusing if not hilarious and I'm curious to see what else happens in the twelve-episode first season.
