While this Helbing & Helbing story doesn't bring all its threads together, it's still an improvement over recent episodes.  It's Christmas time, as we're frequently reminded-- Cisco has a candy cane rather than a lollipop for instance-- and a time to think about the past and the future.  When even Barry's long-imprisoned father knows about his crush, Barry decides to tell Iris, who's going to move in with Eddie anyway.  The title character is the man who killed Barry's mother, except the suit is possibly empty and remote-controlled by Dr. Wells.

Amanda Pays pays her first of five visits as Dr. Christina McGee.  Ralph Hemecker would direct five more episodes.
