Milestone #4
I'm maintaining my pace of two months to review one hundred shows. The 1950s did finally increase a bit, from 10 to 12, but the '60s are still at 10 shows and the '70s at 11. The '80s only went from 65 to 69, but the '90s went from 53 to 79, helped along by Everybody Loves Raymond. The '00s went from 64 to 77, continuing its trend of being about one-fifth of the total. The '10s definitely dominate, thanks to The Flash among other shows, going from 86 to 142, now over one-third of the total!
Of the former Big Three, NBC is still in the lead, but it just went from 71 to 72. British programmes are still very prominent, with ITV at 72 and the BBC at 46 shows.
The lowest grades remain unchanged: one F, still no F+, and one D-. The Ds went from 6 to 7, the D+s from 16 to 23. The C-s increased from 35 to 46, the Cs from 41 to 52, and the C+s from 65 to 87. The B-s changed from 73 to 96, the Bs from 46 to 62. Thanks to The Durrells in Corfu, B+s improved from 14 to 20 and A-s from two to five!
At this point in the project, I know that there will be at least one or two series per letter that I'll want to watch a whole season of, so I try to be patient getting to those gems.
