Well, this is a better historical drama (set during WW II) than The Forsyte Saga, but I still wasn't drawn in beyond the first quarter hour. At least it's set on the homefront of the English countryside, so it was more interesting than I expected from the title. This episode kicked off the beginning of the fourth series and the "invasion" is of Yanks with unconvincing accents. Gavin Millar directed.
