I found both of the new characters introduced in this Helbing & Helbing story, eager young cop Patty Spivot (Shantel VanSanten for the first of ten times) and Jay Garrick AKA Parallel World Flash (Teddy Sears, glimpsed briefly in the previous episode), to be bland and I really was leaning towards a C- and giving up on this series. But I admit to being intrigued that Parallel World Dr. Wells is a hero. As for Cisco's newish superpower, unwanted visions, the jury is out on that for the moment.
Vanessa Williams makes her first of five appearances as Francine West, Joe's estranged wife. (Yeah, I thought Iris's mom was dead, but it never said.)
